Happy May Day!

Hello everyone. Last Friday, Lucas Fisher and Jed Carter teamed up with some students from Madison Junior High to produce the movie below.   Enjoy. More updates later.

News

Yes. I’m aware that I haven’t updated in like 4 months and nobody gets on here anymore. BUT, I found our copy of Adobe Premiere Elements, so we can therefore begin making movies again with nothin’ but pure quality (of the editing at least). However, cameras have disappeared. So we need to get a new camera. Here’s the latest inspirational video:

The music in the background was by Royal Space Voyage, a band that is very underground, but cool. Check ‘em out here.

We successfully ran a show one day last December. So  we’re going to do it again Saturday, January 8/tomorrow.

What goes on..

Nothing much. As soon as marching season lets out(one week), we should have a lot more time for making some movies. So clear your schedules. Happy Halloween!

UPDATE 10-13-10

Nothing happened as far as business goes today. We corrected a flaw in the new video (Majestic was spelled as ‘magestic’) and posted it back up again.  We currently have:
57 total members on the facebook group
8 Suscribers(I’m convinced they are mostly people in Madison)
A start on a script with some reference to spam products, yes, we have to make fun of grade F meat products in order to be funny. Anybody got any ideas for sketches and such?

UPDATE.. still 10-12-10

We filmed 3 thingies: ‘a few minutes of fails,’ Magestic Benjamin,’ and the ‘coughing sketch.’ Yep. We’re going to work on more crap sooner or later and we’ve decided to change names of the sketch show -again- to our *final name: “The Tuesday Afternoon Show.” That is the name regardless of whatever day the show can be aired on MadisonTV15, that is if we ever get anything done and get the first freeking show on. As of 21:30:31, ‘Magestic Benjamin’ is about 2 minutes from being fully uploaded, but unfortunately, we have to use Windows Movie Maker Crap until I can find all our video editing systems and what not… and also, we’ve have realized something terrible. There is no spell check on WordPad and none of us can spell our own names correctly, so we’re in really deep crap at this point, but at least we’re uploading videos again!

*Eh.. maybe we’ll change the name, but it will definately have ‘Tuesday Afternoon’ in the title somewheres.

Good Afternoon

We can see that you guys are buzzing with excitement and you have a load of ideas. We would love to have ‘squares’ to be on the Random Ink Films YouTube channel. As usual, we haven’t had much progress on any videos for no general reason. Call it “filmer’s block,” but as of now, Lucas and Max have a pretty nice set-up for our first public-access show this summer. If you would like to see the current set-up, just ask Lucas. However, we have much space left for sketches in this show, which has a pending name of “The Rolling Over Muffins Show.” Does anyone have any better names for the show? For more information on whatever it was I was blabbering about, please read the above post.

Calling all members of Random Ink Films! We’ve got a shot at a public access show. We need to make at least an hour of film and we’re set! Of course, we don’t really have any ideas yet. So think of some!
